Dry Needling
Dry needling is an advanced treatment technique that uses thin, sterile needles to reduce pain, improve mobility, restore movement, and stimulate the body's natural healing processes. While many people think dry needling is only used to treat muscle knots or trigger points, my approach is much more comprehensive.
At Innovative Mobile Therapy, I evaluate and treat not only muscles, but also tendons, ligaments, connective tissues, and irritated nerves that may be contributing to your pain or movement limitations. Rather than simply treating where it hurts, I focus on identifying and addressing the underlying source of dysfunction.
A unique aspect of my treatment is the use of specialized needle winding techniques combined with electrical stimulation applied directly to the needles when clinically appropriate. This combination may further enhance pain relief, improve neuromuscular activation, promote tissue healing, and restore normal movement more efficiently than dry needling alone.
Unlike many traditional outpatient clinics that are limited by strict treatment times, every dry needling session is individualized based on your condition and response to treatment. This allows adequate time to address all contributing factors rather than simply treating symptoms.
Dry needling may benefit individuals experiencing:
-
Chronic or acute pain
-
Tendon and ligament injuries
-
Sports injuries
-
Arthritis and joint pain
-
Nerve irritation
-
Post-surgical stiffness
-
Movement restrictions
-
Persistent pain that has not improved with other treatments
Every treatment is customized to your specific needs and integrated into a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to help you move better, hurt less, and return to the activities you enjoy.
